About Gastric Balloon in Turkey
How is Gastric Balloon Performed?
First, your doctor will use an endoscopic camera to examine your abdomen. If they do not observe any abnormalities, your surgeon will insert a thin tube (catheter) loaded with the balloon through your mouth and down your throat into the stomach.
The balloon is usually inserted deflated while it is in the smallest size. The surgeon will use an oral spray to numb the throat area, which helps to facilitate the procedure.
